kalen m. curtis was born in racine, wisconsin and has lived in many different cities throughout her life time.  she landed in marietta, ga where she attended lassiter high school (go trojans).  it was there that her love of photography was born.  she graduated magna cum laude from the savannah college of art & design in 2010 with her bfa in photography.  her passion is fine art portraiture with a talent for retouching and photo restoration.  kalen currently works full-time as an admission representative for SCAD while simultaneously receiving her master of arts degree in photography.  pieces from her "underwater" and "couples" series' have been finalists in the annual, international "best of photography" competitions put on by photographer's forum magazine.  kalen plans to complete her mfa to pursue her dream career of teaching.
